It always pays to google your name because I found out that a photo I had submitted to the LA Times a while ago actually had been used by them. This photo was taken after a particularly intense wind storm in Pasadena that I found myself driving home in the middle of. Early the next morning I started walking around the community to survey the damage. Traffic lights were snapped in two all over, houses up and down the street had trees sticking out of them and this is what became of the nearest gas station.

Krazy Vato
Shot the Krazy Vatos tattoo shop for an article about them. Friendly guys to work with, long interesting history on the owner, and some entertaining clientele. Kinda gave me the itch for another tattoo but I'll hold off on that.
Back to the Stage
After recently returning to LA for an unknown amount of time I've been able to get back into some event photography. I shot the prep, red carpet, play and after party for "For the Record: Baz Luhrmann." Shooting the play was a good challenge due to the extremely tight all-encompassing theatre experience. The actors never remained on stage for long and were constantly walking through the audience to mini-stages set up through out the venue. More than once me and the actors ran into each other as I was trying to duck and jump by them. I thought the director/manager might be angry about my interference but after the show he told me he was impressed and that I was the first photographer to move around so much to get the all different action and angles.
St. Patty's event
Go Dodgers!
Before I left Los Angeles I had the chance to shoot a few more Dodgers' games. I worked for the Dodgers all of last season and I was a little sad to be leaving LA right at the beginning of this season. Although I'm not a big baseball fan, I became a Dodgers fan after working every game last year. I enjoyed getting the opportunity to photograph and interact with the fans on different level.
